Meet Our Team
Melissa White – Lead Agent and Listing Specialist
I grew up in South Carolina, and have made North Carolina home
for the past 25 years. Four years ago, my husband and I purchased a 60 acre farm in Rougemont with many part-time dreams. From city girl to the country — I love my chickens!!!
I am a devoted Mother of two children, ages 16 and 13, and enjoy travel, baseball, tennis and dance with my children. I am active in both my church and school PTA.
My experience includes 23 years in competitive sales and marketing. I am a TRUE SALES PROFESSIONAL with excellent organizational and people skills who understands sales and marketing. I am trained in problem/solution selling with strong interface, support, analytical, and leadership skills. I am committed to my clients and to helping them reach their real estate goals.

Tyler White – Broker/Realtor® / Contract to Close Specialist
I was born in Greensboro, NC and spent my childhood in Kingsport, TN. After receiving my BS in Political Science from the University of Tennessee in 1985, I joined the Army and served four years as an Armor Cavalry Officer. I am both airborne and ranger qualified. After the military, I spent 22 years in the residential and commercial insurance claims industry, specializing in catastrophe claims all over the country.
After receiving my real estate license in 2013, I joined the Melissa White Team as a Broker/Realtor ® and a Contract to Close specialist. As a Broker/Realtor ®, I specialize in farms and timber lands and the issues associated with the purchase of these properties. As a Contract to Close Specialist, I am responsible for handling the home inspections and repairs for our Buyers and Sellers. I meet the inspectors so that our clients don’t have to take off work, help identify problems or needed repairs from the inspection reports, negotiate the repairs with the cooperating Realtor, and help our clients find reputable, reasonably-priced professionals to carry out the needed repairs in a timely manner. My goal is to help our clients get through the buying/selling process with as little stress as possible.
In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors, golf and watching my son play baseball and my daughter dance.
Lorraine Parker – Buyer’s Agent
I was born in Hillsborough and grew up on a family farm in Northern Orange County. After graduating from Orange High School, I attended Elon College where I received a BS in Music Education. During my college years, I joined the church music ministry team at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church and continue to be a member of this music ministry team today.
Following graduation from Elon College, I was employed by Orange County School System where I taught music for 38 years. After retiring from teaching, I embarked on a second career as a real estate agent with the Melissa White Team at Keller Williams. As a Buyer’s Agent, I utilize the interpersonal skills that I learned as a teacher and personalized customer service to help my clients reach their home buying goals.
I am currently among the top 20% of agents in the Keller Williams Burlington Market Center and received the Keller Williams Realty Cultural Award in March of 2016.
